Reflection: Staying healthy, active, and fit are among my priorities in life. By using functional and weight training it has helped increase my power and strength as well as balance. I enjoy the thrill of working out as I have done it for the past 7 years. It's an activity that I will pursue throughout my lifetime. I have gained a lot of knowledge from working out and my plan is to use the knowledge that I have gained to help out others that are in need.
As a Physical Educator, one must be competent in various areas such as sports, locomotor skills, and body composition. By creating fitness plans students can become physically stronger and more explosive. They can perform in more moderate to vigourous physical activity. Knowing that 15 % of children are obese and that another 15% are at risk for being over weight that is nearly 30% of the children in the United States. My fitness plans I believe can affect students in a positive way and help them be able to live a healthy, active, and fit lifestyle.
